…..MY LIFE AS A CIRCUS PERFORMER…..
These girls were jogging by with their donkeys in a park in central Berlin. Highschool German lessons jumped into action! “Ein Foto, bitte?” popped out of my mouth. I don’t know if they knew what a sight they were, but I thought they were glorious. I snapped a few shots before they went on their way.

I saw this little fellow at a flea market in Hell’s Kitchen. I think he belonged to a stall owner.

I awoke to the same 40 seconds of hip hop music being played over and over. The hotel was right on the town square, and there was a festival on so I figured they were doing sound checks at one of the stages. When I went out for lunch later, This is what I saw. Group after group of kids dancing immaculately choreographed 40 second routines. It was so cute. They would bow to the judges afterwards like martial artists, then head back into the crowd. The judges though, having been there for 4 hours already under the sun, were not looking too enthusiastic. I came back past here a few hours later and they were still going!
