More Of Footscray, Australia. – Street Photography

I guess there’s nothing particularly personal in these photos, they mostly just give a good view of the surrounding scene and vibe in Footscray these days. I’m also experimenting with different types of subtle black and white processing.

Travel Photo #83

I remember thinking as I walked around Prague last year that it was the most beautiful city I had ever seen. As a quick backstory, Tom Gorham (another acrobat in the show I was in) and I were charged with driving a van from Lithuania to Barcelona. We drove through Poland to Berlin, had a day there, and continued down to Prague for an afternoon before heading on through Switzerland and Italy to Spain.

Prague is really quite amazing. I could fill this page up with travel clichés but I won’t, just suffice to say that Prague’s history and architectural opulence caught me off guard. I was walking around all afternoon with a dumb grin on my face like every other tourist, taking photos and staring at what locals would view as mundane. I must say though, I have no problem with being a tourist when all I have is an afternoon in one of the historically celebrated European cities, the city where Mozart was born. I have much more of a tolerance for tourists after experiencing cities in this manner.

In this photo, I was standing on the Charles Bridge looking back at the Old Town. The band was a nice mix of old polka music with a jazz swing influence. The sun had just come out, I had an ice cream in my hand and I was in my little travel bubble where all is right in the world and nothing could dampen my mood.
